A cheatsheet library for Purdue
The Goal
Make a library of cheatsheets — a clean, fast resource for Purdue students that's actually worth bookmarking.
Born thanks to a bet with Anna Citron: get your first 100 users on anything. So I built something I'd use.

Inside the App
Process
Claude Coded the whole thing over 1 week with all iterations
Tried building NFC integrations for fun — the website did well enough that we never ended up needing it
Sent 3 rounds of emails to TAs, iterated each time to make it sound less like spam — they responded and it worked

Milestone Unlocked
Top 3 Learnings
Make your marketing clear but uncluttered. It's much more important to advertise in the right place than to obsess over advertising volume.
Build the skill you want someone else to do — at least 30%. You don't need to master it, but you need enough to direct it, debug it, and own it.
I enjoyed the hardware process (CAD, prototyping, iterating). The next goal: 100 users on a hardware wearable at some point.
Mental Note
Personal reminder
It's easier than you think to get people on your app. It's harder to keep them happy.
Grateful For
Every TA that responded to three rounds of emails and helped me sound less spam-y.
